Palworld Ancient Relic Recycler Guide: Unlock and Use

The Ancient Relic Recycler is a late-game facility for processing accepted Ancient Relics. Build it only after your power grid and Handiwork coverage are stable; otherwise you have constructed a very expensive ornament.

The facility requires electricity and a Pal with Handiwork.

Choose a first batch

Open the Recycler before committing valuable items. Confirm that the input is accepted, the output area is visible, and the facility has the power and Handiwork coverage it needs. Start with one expendable relic, then move the result to separate storage before adding more.

Holy Water speed boost

Only use World Tree Holy Water when the current Recycler screen shows a clear interaction. Keep a reserve for your next World Tree run before spending it on optional processing.

Use it when:

• the Recycler has a large backlog;
• your Holy Water route is already stable;
• faster output matters more than saving water for World Tree gathering.

Skip it when your reserve is low. Automation is not efficient if it starves the resource run feeding the machine.

Base placement checklist

• Keep it inside power coverage.
• Leave clear access for a Handiwork Pal.
• Put Ancient Relic input storage nearby.
• Separate finished-output storage from unrelated production.
• Test one batch before filling every slot.

Run one test batch

1. Confirm the facility is inside active power coverage.
2. Place one expendable Ancient Relic in the accepted input UI; do not assume every similarly named item is accepted.
3. Assign a Handiwork Pal and watch for an active processing state.
4. Move the result to separate storage before starting the next batch.

If the Recycler does nothing

No processing state	Power coverage, Handiwork assignment, and whether the selected item is accepted
Pal never reaches the facility	Clear the route and test with a smaller Pal before rebuilding the power grid
Unexpected result	Move it to separate storage and review the displayed item details before starting another batch
Holy Water appears ineffective	Stop using it until the current UI, consumption state, and timing are visible

If an item, processing state, or Holy Water interaction is not shown in the current Recycler UI, leave it out of your plan until you can test it safely.
