Privacy Policy
About this policy
This policy describes the Pals Guide website at palsguide.cc. It covers the features and data practices in the current site release.
Information you provide
Pals Guide currently has no account, upload, payment, subscription, newsletter, or public submission feature. The site does not ask you to provide information through those features.
Information processed when the site is requested
Pals Guide is hosted through Cloudflare. When you request a page, Cloudflare and the site operator may process standard request information such as your IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, date and time, and basic security or error information. This information is used to deliver pages, operate caching and security features, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot availability or performance issues. Pals Guide does not use this request information for user accounts, advertising profiles, payment processing, newsletter subscriptions, or public submissions, because the current site does not offer those features.
Plausible analytics
On eligible pages, Pals Guide automatically uses the cookieless Plausible analytics service at plausible.shipsolo.io to measure aggregate traffic, content and navigation performance, and site reliability. This measurement does not depend on your Microsoft Clarity choice. The supplied browser script does not set analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers; it only reads the optional plausible_ignore opt-out flag.
Plausible can receive the page URL or path, referrer, browser, operating-system, and device-derived information, plus pageviews, engagement and scroll data, and enabled outbound-link, file-download, and form-submission event categories. Coarse location and uniqueness may be processed server-side from request IP address and User-Agent information. Pals Guide suppresses Plausible on legal, contact, 404, and sensitive routes, whenever a URL has a query string, and when Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is active. Pals Guide does not use Plausible for advertising, profiling, remarketing, custom properties, user IDs, revenue, or free-text values.
Microsoft Clarity analytics
If you choose “Accept Clarity,” Pals Guide uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site and to improve navigation, layout, content presentation, reliability, and usability. Clarity can process page visits and rendering, clicks or taps, scrolling, mouse movement, navigation, device and browser details, performance and diagnostic events, and DOM/layout information to produce behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and reconstructed session replays. Session replay is a reconstruction from page structure and interaction events, not a camera or screen video. Pals Guide configures Strict masking, does not intentionally send form or search-field values, and does not use Clarity for advertising or connect it to Microsoft Advertising.
Clarity is off unless you opt in. If you accept, Microsoft may set first- and third-party cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. You can reject Clarity without losing site features and can later change or withdraw your choice through Cookie settings. When Global Privacy Control is active, Pals Guide keeps Clarity off. Microsoft states that Clarity itself does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals; Pals Guide nevertheless treats a browser DNT signal as Clarity off.
Microsoft/Clarity receives and has access to the analytics data and stores it in Microsoft Azure. Microsoft’s current Clarity documentation describes Microsoft Clarity as a data controller. Microsoft’s current retention documentation states that playback data is retained for 30 days and click/heatmap data and labeled or favorited sessions for up to 9 months; Microsoft’s recordings documentation also says a limited sample of recordings may remain available for up to 9 months. See the Microsoft Clarity Privacy FAQ, Clarity data collection documentation, Clarity retention documentation, Clarity Terms of Use, and Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Cookies and similar technologies
Pals Guide stores only the necessary palsguide_consent preference for optional Microsoft Clarity. Plausible measurement is cookieless and does not depend on that choice. Microsoft Clarity cookies are used only after you accept Clarity. The cookie names, purposes, and controls are described in the Cookie Policy.
How information is used and shared
Hosting request information is used for delivery, security, caching, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting as described above. Plausible analytics is used for aggregate traffic, content/navigation, and reliability measurement as described in the Plausible section. If you opt in, Clarity analytics is used only for site UX diagnostics and is shared with Microsoft/Clarity as described in the analytics section. Pals Guide does not use analytics for advertising, profiling, or remarketing and does not connect analytics to Microsoft Advertising.
External links
Pals Guide links to PalBreedRoute, a separate sister breeding planner. When you open that link, you leave Pals Guide and the destination site’s terms and privacy practices apply. Pals Guide does not currently embed or exchange user data with PalBreedRoute.
Audience and children’s privacy
Pals Guide is a general-audience Palworld information site for a broad player audience. It is not designed, promoted, or directed specifically to users under 18. This does not make the site adults-only, and Pals Guide does not verify visitors’ ages. Microsoft states that Clarity should not be used on websites or apps targeting users under 18. If Pals Guide changes to target users under 18, Microsoft Clarity will be disabled before that change is released.
Your choices and requests
You can reject optional Microsoft Clarity without losing site features, or use to accept, reject, or withdraw that choice. For privacy questions or requests, email support@palsguide.cc.
